Hey my wonderful Steemians after having a good nights sleep hopefully between 7 or 8 hours, your body and vital organs rest and repair itself if we look after our temple. Eating your last meal before 7.30pm is great as it give the gut and the intestines a break. The first meal you break your fast with is taken to cleanse, boost and kick start the vital organs to get you through the day. No disrepect but break fast in a box commercial cereals well i'm not a fan of at all. Without further a do let me show you one of my favorite break fast bowls my family and friends love it too. I am also posting this as my entry for @veganwednesday as hosted by my wonderful sistar @heart-to-heart thanks for the love that you and the other lovely members have shown me since I joined. This break fast is short but sweet and will give your body the first daily food boost that we all need to kick start and maintain healthy organs and cells.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 packet roasted Pistachios shelled or unshelled
- 2 tablespoons organic Baobab powder
- 2 tablespoons organic Cacao beans
- 1 teaspoon of Cayenne pepper (reduce the amount for children)
- 2 tablespoons organic Coconut chips
- 2 tablespoons organic Coconut oil
- 3 large deseeded Mejool dates
- 1 teaspoon organic ground tumeric
- 1 tablespoon organic Agave Syrup to taste (I don't use it the Mejool dates makes it sweet enough for me)
METHOD
- put all your dry ingredients in a bowl and mix together.
Add all the dry ingredients in the blender and blend until ground.
Pour all the ingredients into a bowl and add the coconut oil stir until all the ingredients bind together almost like a dough. You can add Agave at this stage it's optional, use it to suit your taste.
Wash your hand and then get some the mixture in your hands and roll into a ball.
- Store in the fridge for 30 mins to set.
- Once set eat with fruits or just as it is.

BAOBAB A 4.5g portion of baobab powder contains 12 calories and 2 grams of fiber. Baobab fruit is high in calcium, vitamin C, potassium, magnesium, zinc, vitamin A, thiamin, B6 and bioflavonoids. It also acts as a prebiotic and is high in fiber.
COCONUT The soft meat, or flesh, inside the coconut helps to restore oxidative tissue damage and contains a source of healthy fats, proteins, and various vitamins and minerals. ... Although coconut oil is a saturated fat it is unlike the high calorie, cholesterol-soaked, long chain saturated fats.

Cayenne pepper can stimulate your body’s circulation and reduce acidity. It’s also used for conditions of the heart and blood vessels – including to improve poor circulation, reverse excessive blood clotting, lower high cholesterol and prevent heart disease.
CACAO "Food of Gods”. Cacao has more than 300 compounds that includes: fat, protein, fiber, carbohydrates, zinc, iron, calcium, copper, and magnesium. Magnesium also helps in building the strong bones as well as is the muscle relaxant linked with feelings of the calmness. The cacao is as well high in sulfur that helps form the strong nails & hair. Additionally, cacao has chemicals phenylethylamine & anandamide. PEA is the adrenal associated chemical we make naturally when we are excited. It as well plays the role in feeling totally alert and focused because it causes pulse rate to fasten, resulting in the similar feeling when we are very much excited!
MEJOOL DATES Dates are loaded with both soluble and insoluble fiber and amino acids, they can help to normalize digestive function, too. Dates also contain minerals like copper, potassium, zinc, magnesium, calcium phosphorous, and iron, as well as B vitamins (especially B6), vitamin K, and vitamin A.
TURMERIC heal wounds, improve skin health, protect cognitive abilities, ease menstrual difficulties, reduce inflammation, eliminate depression, alleviate pain, slow the aging process, protect the digestive tract, and prevent cancer.
The list could go on, so now you overstand why I don't do commercial cereals for break fast and the reason why my first meal is more sexy than yours because it kick start all my vital organs baby, assist in stopping my cravings for junk processed sugars and fats. If you try this recipe do not restrict yourself to the nuts and fruits that I have used. You can use fruits and nuts of your own choice and let me know.
