Why Are The Contests Good?
This is the question! For me contests are a permanent source of inspiration for postings. If I ever win a prize, it will be the ultimate reward. Until then, it helps me find topics to post. For example, vehiclephotography, the theme of today, reminded me of the trams in Iasi. I visited Iasi two weeks ago and I was impressed by the trams running there.
Trams
Now the trams are modern, spacious and very comfortable vehicles. The only problem is that they are too expensive. Not many municipalities are allowed to buy new trams. The municipality of Iasi solved the problem of the tram transport by purchasing old German trams from towns such as Essen and Mülheim an der Ruhr
Advantages And Disadvantages
All things have advantages and disadvantages, it's not hard to find them. In the case of the old trams brought to Iasi I see the following advantages: being cheaper more were bought. Being brought from Germany are well-made and well-maintained vehicles. For me, the main advantage is that they are very beautiful and special, embellish the city and attract tourists. The main disadvantage is that they are outdated as technology, they are noisy and without air-conditioned.

Perhaps the trams of this kind are outdated by the times. However, I believe their beauty and the remembrance of past times are an asset for further use ...
I've never been on a street car or tram. I live near Toronto and they have a lot of them. One day I should venture out and go on a ride. I like the way they look on the street.

Thanks! I also prefer the first one. Taking a tram ride can be enjoyable especially if the route is through the beautiful areas of the city.
You're right!! It's a great way to get to know a city. I didn't think of it beyond transportation....so maybe this spring I'll take a ride on the red rocket - that's what it's called in Toronto. Might be an opportunity for street photography (which I have never tried ).

Nu știam că ești din Iași.Ce bine, nu mai sunt singurul moldovean de p-acii.
Sunt moldovean dar locuiesc la Bucuresti. La Iasi am prieteni si sunt invitat din cand in cand. Imi place mult orasul si de aceea postez de multe ori despre el.

Acum doua saptamani am fost pentru prima data in Iasi, intr-o scurta vacanta: am vizitat Gradina Botanica, am fost in Parcul Copou, la Palatul Culturii si la Bojdeiuca lui Ion Creanga. Tare frumos este orasul, sper sa merg din nou la vara.
Cu privire la fotografii, nu sunt prietena cu HTML-ul, imi da batai de cap. Da, mai bine spune-mi cum faci tu si ma ghidez dupa modelul tau ;)
