I was in Southern France a few years ago and saw a convertible that I’d never seen before. I took the photos below and researched it when I got home from vacation. The car was a Wiesmann, a handmade German car with a BMW engine that was produced from 1993 to its bankruptcy in 2014. It was a very nice car with a gecko as it’s emblem. Apparently the gecko was meant to symbolize the car’s ability to stick to the road like a gecko’s ability to stick to vertical surfaces. Nice car. I love car photography, especially vintage sport cars.
I’m glad you enjoyed the post!
Nice car!! Maybe when I get rich..lol
You never know! Good luck on that!
👍
Wow, I like that car. So cool @dabeckster
Thanks! I bet you could do a nice drawing of that!
Yeah surely I can draw it. Hehehe
Thats such a cool car had never heard of it before now
That’s the only one I’ve ever seen. It’s got to be pretty rare.
I wonder how many were made and are still in good shape like that one
That photo was from 2008, so that one may have been brand new. They only made about 180 per year and I would imagine collectors have them stashed away.
That would all make sense
