I spotted this Royal Enfield Motorcycle on a trip to the Dubai Mall back in January and took a few photographs. It looked so retro in it's appearance and at the same time super modern. The proud owner was very happy for me to take some photos of his pride and obvious joy.
Royal Enfield has been making what we call in the UK 'motorbikes' for over 100 years so it was nice to see that they are still around even if this one was in Dubai? It's amazing what you can see when you are out and about?
The Royal Enfield has been built in India since the 1950's and now sells more motorbikes than Harley Davidson worldwide.
The second photograph is a close up of the world famous 'Bullet'. This marquehas been in continuous production for over 75 years and makes it the longest production run ever of a motorcycle.
All of you bikers out there will probably know a lot more about it than me? but it is a lovely looking machine.

What a cool Slavic but what got me was that they sell more than Harley Davidson that was a surprise ot me, but maybe not that could be why Harley have closed a couple of factories here in the states
Yeah it was quite a surprise to me too but it is a very popular bike. Retro styling with modern equipment. Best of both.
Indeed I always wanted a classic one of these maybe a modern one would be nice some day
It does look retro.
It sure does, that's the appeal.
Jim and I went to several of the motorcycle museums here in the states and he was always most attracted to the old British bikes. That is a beauty!
It sure is and I just discovered that they are built in India and have been since the 50's! Amazing what we find when we dig in a little further?
Retro style but with all mod cons.
What a beauty this is! Must be amazing to ride it!
Retro style with all the mod cons. Sweet ride. tip! Jeez I'm sounding like a parrot lol

Hi @pipurilla! You have received 0.1 SBD tip from @molometer!I imagine there are stories that bike could tell if it could talk. Like how it found itself in the desert:)
Good point. It is a design icon so I suppose it was bought more for it's aesthetic appeal rather than practicality?
a cool, sophisticated motorcycle, and a motor that has the best quality, good post.
Thanks, it is pretty special.
That's a beauty alright. Did you happen to notice the background lends itself to the vintage colors. It's almost a timeless piece.
I like the guy stepping out in the background lol Looks like he's about to start dancing.
I've been attempting to come back and tell you I'm pretty sure that's Fred Astaire in the doorway back there.
Wow thats a nice one, a real beauty !
It sure is a classic as you say 'a real beauty'.
We dont see many of these here in the USA only at Bike Shows or Museum Collections.
Nice photography
Thanks, what was nice about it? :)
bike
Haha thanks. I was wondering?

Hello factism, always a pleasure to chat with a robot haha!
LOL you do realize you have the opportunity to contribute to the delinquency of AI by teaching it to admire motorcycles ;-) next thing you know, it will be trying to join a gang.
However, I don't think he's a bot. Pretty sure he's just getting mechanical help with his English.
Down with AI lol dumb it down...just a bit more!
The comments are identical every place it comments.
LoL OK it could just be someone really good with ccp ... right?
Frankly people are all about this ai stuff and I'm looking at Google and fb and I'm thinking ... intelligent my hind leg. What we have here is unintelligent data scraping. They still have to call in humans to do proper censorship. I mean uh proper ... how did that saying go ... "oh my poor virgin ears." Yep they gotta protect our poor virgin ears, eyes, brains. O.o ... I think I'll just go write my 5 min freewrite for the day now.
Yep you got it in one. Data mining is what they are all about.
Social networks... my foot? tip!
