Wednesday Vehicle Photography

While browsing my old posts I realized I didn't publish vehicle photos for a long time. Here on Alberta roads, you can find all kinds of vehicles. The rules are very flexible. There are new sports cars, old vintage cars, new and shiny, old and rusty. But most of them are dirty.

In Dubai is just opposite. Most of the cars are new. They have strict inspections and I didn't see a single car with rust on it. If you have a dirty car police can pull you off the road and you'll pay a fine.

But for today's post, I'll show you a different kind of transportation. Transport for the lazy tourists, I call them.

We were in Dubai when the day temperatures start rising above 30 degrees Celsius and most of our sightseeing around the city was in the evening. That's why most of my photos were taken at the night time. But with bright and colorful lights sometimes it looks even better.

This train operates between a parking lot and Global village.

It was driving on the empty street without passengers and it was quite fast. From the blurry photo, you can see it was too fast even for my smartphone.

This one is too old even for Alberta's regulations I guess.

The lady on the back was really shy but I couldn't resist taking a shot.

Black and yellow combination. I like it.

All of these are electrically driven and you need to be careful if you pedestrian even in the close touristic areas.

On real roads and streets, you better watch out. Pedestrians are the last thing the car drivers pay attention to.

Dubai Trolley.

I really like a vintage look of this tramway. It was open only 3 years ago and it serves purely as a visitor attraction. The whole track is just 1 km long.

If you want to feel like a movie star you can book a ride with this monster. It must be quite a pricey adventure but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

It's a lunchtime and I must go now.

See you tomorrow, my friends.

All the old cars look very antique, a very good shot. I am everyone enjoying your shot. Good luck always for you and to meet again @oldtimer. 😊👍👍

very interesting transportation in that part of the city, looks more like Disney World, I was really surprised.
What do you do in Dubai?
your car can be pulled over for being dirty?? my god don't come to Texas!

What an experience and sight seeing it must be @oldtimer. The city must really have great lights and you must also have a great camera. All the same I hope you had a good time. I better not wait for the answer. It is obvious😊.

First of all, good luck I love your photos of the Dubai auto park, which is an excellent attraction for tourists, especially if we go with children, as they are very excited to see and ride in these cars, and they hear laughter as a melody of angels, I have ridden in the trolleybus and in Aruba a train that walks the tourists in the downtown area to do the different purchases. This limousine has its own pocket, out of curiosity I would like to ride in it, especially the white color that I love in vehicles, have a fun time here in your blog. thanks for that. greetings @oldtimer

Meanwhile, I sit here in germany, being amazed about having seen one of the Google Maps cars for the first time just recently.

Young and naive I was.

Beautiful vehicles pictures you got there boss and good photography skills to go with, you message is well sent and received @oldtimer kudos to you my Mentor!

Wow ... a fine for having a dirty car and while living in the dessert. There is some cleanliness rules:) Those are some great vehicle shares, old timer:0

Good job, I loved the presentation, description and the unbeatable photos, THANKS for sharing!

Well had no idea of that rule in Dubai. No wonder you can see the newest arrival of cars in Dubai first ;)

While liked the trains especially the black & yellow ones.

While if the ride on the last one costs more than it sure is worth it ;)The color suits it even more.

All the photos are incredible, but those old carriages are extraordinary, I love limoncina, I would like to go there, but free and accompanied by some important celebrity.

That's quite a selection of vehicles @oldtimer. Everything always look so clean in Dubai! But if you can get a fine just for having a dirty car that explains why. 😊

I love those electric cars @oldtimer they sure are head turners especially that last photo of a huvee limousine. :)

It looks like there is a lot of chauffeuring around in Dubai. I can’t believe how strict they are about the condition of vehicles. I can only imagine if it was that way here. Police would have people pulled over constantly.

You need to take your car for inspection every year and they won't let you pass. They don't need the police to stop people. It's the same system in Europe too.

Wow this is amazing it makes me want to visit Dubai. I don’t know about getting a ticket for a dirty car though. Lol that’s intense.

Dubai looks more and more like disneyworld... especially at night. The magic Kingdom has a lot of rides too... Nice photographs... I love the choo choo trains!!

I am Pricasso most wonderful artist and you have inspired me, so in your honor and dedicated to you.. . this magical masterpiece.

I want to thank you for your kindness and dedication in showing with such passion the city visited, I can move through the report easily and enjoy every tour you have shown, the day to day of each city or country in the world is really unique, enjoy wherever you are, thank you for sharing.

I hope you really enjoyed your lunch. All these vehicles are amazing to watch and these are just not reflecting as vehicles but these are also reflecting as great artistic and antique pieces which are moving to attract people and i really liked the train and in my opinion that train ride would be amazing and the night view will going to make more breathtaking because we can see all colourful lights everywhere. And Black and Yellow coloured Steem Engine train is literally reflecting as an toy train and hopefully people are enjoying the rides of it and i hope that you also enjoyed some of the rides. Thanks for sharing this post with us and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂

Wow that is so cool. I love the different modes of transport you photographed. It would be neat to see all that everything does seem to be so clean. Hope you are having a great trip it sure looks like it. Thank You for sharing your experiences.

Your yellow monster is nice too, hehe.

Thank You for the support!!

Some of those vehicles remind me of the amusement park! The rest are very valuable relics, excellent photos :)

Vintage Dubai trolley is truly awesome.

@oldtimer debe ser una experiencia maravillosa pasear en esos trenes y vehiculos antiguos

Your vehicle's photo is good. The temperature is 42 degrees Celsius.

Cool vehicles! Hope your lunch was good!!

Cool shots, so many different trains!

Beautiful collection of vehicles, they are looking well cared after but may be juts new. It is a great idea to swap to electric engine, hopefully will be seeing more on our streets too.

The red tram look really nice and nostalgic, again I love the color: red and gold is a good combination.

Also I would like to thank you for visiting my last painting from me and "Howdy Partner!" :)

Great collection of vehicles. I also like the "vacation athmosphere"

BTW... off to the south with a stop in Ljubljana soon.. too bad we'll have to go by car :-/

Make sure you'll visit the old part of the city. Castle, market, and Tromostovje.

Thanks a lot for the recommendation, we already saw it last year. Very beautiful!

Vrlo zanimljiva kolekcija i lepi noćni snimci. Turistički vozići su atrakcija bilo gde u svetu. Uvek se vozim njima kad mi se ukaže prilika. Zbog posebne atmosfere obilaska, interakcije sa drugim putnicima, priče, radosti i smeha uvek prisutnih tokom vožnje. Nikako iz lenjosti. :) Mislim da je i drugima to motiv.
Crno žuta lokomotiva i tramvaj su neodoljivi. Lokomotiva me inspirisala za današnji post, mada nema reči o Green Technologies. Hvala vam na objavi @oldtimer.
