I know I have time without sharing anything with this community, but yesterday I made a reflection that I would like you to read ...
What is the need? What is motivation? How is form a society? What is poverty? What motivates a society? Is a poor society motivated? What makes us a society? What makes us human? What is humanity?
They were hidden a while time ago, they hid until the light of day died so that no one could see them ... but that was before ... Today ... Today they are in daylight without any shame .. well, the hunger doesn't have to be painful ... they wait for any movement in the corners of the city to see if they can get something to survive, they become people that are in constant search ... digging ... well, do not we all do the same? The difference is that what they seek is vital.
What motivates they? What do they find there? The happiness? love? food? Yes, definitely, food, the most basic and vital need. Are they basic? Do they know it? Did they lose their humanity? Because it isn't human to dig out of the garbage to get food... Is that what simple humanity is about? Let ourselves be guided by our instincts?
I return to my questions while I reflect. Why do they do it? What led you to this? Yes, the need ... And ... whose fault is it? From them? mine? of others? I do not know it yet. While I see them breaking the bags I wonder what I can do to help them? Maybe the best option is to give them what they need, right ?. But a person doesn't eat only once a day ... And the others? ... the others who walk in the other corners? What do I do with them?
In a society where most people think about: 1. looking for what to eat, 2. being attentive to crime and 3. taking care of them health because there are no medicines; there are no opportunities to enjoy life, Maslow's pyramid falls short and we simply stay on the first step without even thinking about our self-improvement.
I do not know how to end this reflection in a positive way ... But surely today I will see something more that encourages me and makes me hope for the future of this country.
