House in the páramo surrounded by frailejones
One of these places, of which I will speak today is Merida:
It is usually known as "The City of Knights", this cute name fits very well, since it is due to the kindness with which its people receive visitors. Traveling to this beautiful state has become a dream for many and well ... I am not the exception, when it comes to travel, I venture anywhere!
I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel several times to this state, and today I want to share that satisfaction through the photographs I took of the wilderness on the way to the city, starting from my beloved town, Las Mesitas, in Boconó , Trujillo State.
The weather is one of the things that most attracts the attention of this state, it is characterized by an extreme cold in the páramos that is reduced as we get closer to the city, but if we climb the cable car, when we reach the last station, we are again with that cold that for me (and for many) is really delicious.
Apartaderos
For this trip it is common to get up early to avoid the haze that falls in the afternoon, the route we usually take is: Las Mesitas - Pueblo Llano - Santo Domingo - Apartaderos, there you take trunk 7 until you reach Mérida. It is the fastest way from my house, unfortunately the lack of pavement makes it not suitable for all vehicles, Jeep 4x4 are the best suited to it.

The small towns that are on the road is another attraction. They transmit in equal parts tenderness and nostalgia all the little houses with tile roofs, the wonderful landscapes adorned with frailejones, the peculiar stone walls, the great amount of handicrafts that are obtained, the traditional and delicious strawberries with cream that they sell along the way ... Endless charms for Venezuelans and foreigners!
Typical house of a village
Among the towns that are in the route, depending on the route taken are: Tuñame, Timotes, Pueblo Llano, Santo Domingo, Apartaderos, Mucuchies, Tabay, among others.
Stone Chapel
The Stone Chapel, located in San Rafael de Mucuchies, on the side of the road, is an incredible work created by the Venezuelan artist Juan Félix Sánchez Sánchez, handmade in the years 1980-1984 and declared a cultural heritage of Venezuela.

From the city it is observed how some peaks remain covered with snow, thanks to the glacial that, overflowing magic, dresses them throughout the year. Such is the case of the highest in Venezuela: the Bolivar peak, whose majesty is 4978 meters above sea level.
After arriving in the city, a beautiful view

Can you imagine spending the moor on a motorcycle? Uff ... what an event! ... Too bad the rain stopped my adventure and I had to go to the car :c But it is in my plans a next trip on a motorcycle.
Back in my house and missing that divine journey, I am grateful that through the photographs we can go back to the places we visit, remember the emotions we feel, the tastes we taste, and tell the stories we live there.
There are still thousands of places to visit and countless things to show, this is not even a small part.
