Refrigeration is not a problem when preserving juice or pulp, as they can be kept frozen for up to a year, it is likely that this process affects a little the texture of the pulp but the flavor is perfectly preserved without any kind of alteration.

The fruit of passion fruit has a high content of vitamins and minerals such as calcium, iron, phosphorus and vitamins (A, E and C). Therefore it is good for hair, skin and nails. It has detoxifying properties, the fiber of its seeds improves intestinal movements, and is of high energy value due to its natural glucose content.

Also with the peels you can make a juice, boiling them well beforehand, liquefying them and mixing them with sugar and a little vanilla; from this you get a delicious thick drink called in this country carato de parchita. In some parts this carato can be mixed with white rum, obtaining a cocktail called guarapita.
