There are several errors in this article. First, the calculator allows us to calculate how many "bolívares soberanos" (VES) –new monetary unit– is equivalent to each "bolívares fuertes" (VEF) amount –old monetary unit–, since we have just experienced the third monetary reconversion of Chavismo. Second the app does not show amounts in petros. Third, the "bolívar soberano" does not equal 60 dollars. The socialist regime says that the petro is equivalent to the price of a barrel of oil, and the price of the "bolívar soberano" has been anchored to the petro.
