According to the RAE (Dictionary of the Spanish Royal Academy) a journalist can be defined as: "Person legally authorized to practice journalism" and journalism as "Capture and treatment, written, oral, visual or graphic, information In any of its forms and varieties. " Thus, it could be pointed out that a journalist is the person legally authorized for the capture, treatment and dissemination of real and undistorted information, addressed to the general population, as the case may be. There are three types of journalistic genres: informative, interpretive and opinion, all used daily in the world. In Venezuela in particular, because of the current political crisis, not all genders are used in the right way and with the necessary frequency; As for the informational genre, news is usually manipulated at the convenience of the protagonists depending on the power they have, and it has even been censored by the media. Press, radio and television channels have been the protagonists of its indefinite closure by authorities for disseminating information that they consider to negatively affect the current government. As for the interpretive genre, in charge of deepening the facts and explaining the news, hundreds of journalists knowing the censorship applied to the guild, are working in this genre despite the country situation; Are dozens of reports that are made daily in a professional way by communicators, to be transmitted by electronic means (the only means that has not been completely controlled), at risk of being persecuted politically. The journalistic genre of opinion also plays a fundamental role in the country, the article and the column are made and / or disseminated by international means with a view to Venezuela and the situation it faces, its main reasons, possible solutions and international actions that help the country. In addition to this, yellowing and sensationalism have always been involved in the media in Venezuela, so that the media are working ethically and impartially, with truthful and complete credibility of their information.
