On April 17, verge delivered its promise by cementing a major deal with Pornhub, an adult content website managed by Mindgeek, something that was not foreseen. Leading up to the deal, the price of XVG increased tremendously. Verge has hit the road again and it’s still hovering over the internet circles. This time, Verge (XVG) eyes one of the leading music streaming platform- Spotify.
The music streaming service has more than 65 million subscribers who are trusted to bring in the revenue to the platform. Verge seems to argue that it would only make it even more enjoyable and easy to pay when a digital currency is introduced on the platform
On Spotify’s ‘live ideas’ section, under the community page, Dan, a Verge soldier, wrote,
“I am reaching out to you [Spotify] today to suggest about and request a formal evaluation of our currency [Verge (XVG)] in hopes that you find it a suitable fit to your platform.”
Dan continued to showcase how the cryptocurrency has made strides in the adult content circles, which he was referring to the deal with Pornhub. He also quoted that the partnership with Mindgeek which owns/runs more than 80% of adult content websites, including Pornhub, receives over 115 million visitors daily and approximately 3 billion ad impressions.
The Verge soldier winded up his request for a partnership with Spotify by saying,
“I do hope you find this suggestion to be important and note that we are scouring the internet to find any and all available resources at our disposal to ensure that consumers will be able to take advantage of our newfound partnership and the benefits it entails”
On Twitter, Verge’s community support head, Cees Van Dam, commended the idea fronted by Dan saying,
“The partnership with Spotify is now marked as a hot idea”
Although Spotify has not officially commented on the request by Verge’s soldier, the discussion is already heating up on social media circles.
As Verge (XVG) eyes one of the leading music streaming platform, do you think Spotify will consider the partnership idea? If they do, will it impact XVG prices?
