I agree, I think they're going after any business that will have them. And they should, that's just good business. But being the pornhub currency will scare off alot of investors and entry into alot of other sectors. In response to some of the posters below, I'm in no way against what they're doing, just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I similarly don't own stocks in tobacco companies, though porn and tobacco are both quite lucrative. Just a personal choice.
Like I said, probably great for a business decision. Though it's still funny how it came about. Prior to the announcement they made it sound like they had some earth-shattering partnership they were going to announce. I mean come on, that's just funny!

In 2017 Pornhub averaged 81 million visits a day. When you remove all the country-specific Google variations, Pornhub ranked as the 23rd most visited website in the entire world (only 2 spots lower than Netflix, by comparison). Pornhub also saw thousands of Verge transactions the first week of use.
You're welcome to your own prejudices when it comes to investing, but to see the Pornhub partnership as anything other than a smart, A+ business move is being willfully ignorant. Not to mention, this is a single partnership out of the many that they are creating... I'm by no means a 'Verge Bro', but it would be fiscal foolishness to pass on grabbing some during this dip. But hey, you do you I suppose.
