Saludos, mis fieles lectores Hivers. ¿Cómo está la mejor comunidad del ecosistema Web3? ¡La más vibrante y diversa! Feliz de pertenecer a este proyecto y feliz de contarles mi más reciente aventura.
Confieso que no soy de tomarme muchas fotos, aunque en el evento sí parecía. Eso se debe a la Hiver fever y que todo lo que veo, experimento o vivo quiero venir acá a contarlo con todas las pruebas y evidencias posibles. ¿A quién más le pasa?
Antes de la Caracas Blockchain Week, el evento me parecía genial, el espacio propicio para unir a mucha gente de la comunidad web3, cripto, NFTs, asimismo, el momento perfecto para conocer a todos mis criptoamigos virtuales, con los que, día a día, compartía por twitter y otras redes sociales.
Desde el momento en el que salieron las entradas, compré la mía para el día que pensé que era más factible para mí el poder asistir, entendiendo que, soy y vivo en la ciudad de Maracaibo, estado Zulia. La compré para el sábado 05 de Noviembre.
Debo decir que, me pareció raro que no tuvieran habilitado el pago en crypto y fui al grupo de telegram de la Ccs Blockchain Week a comentarlo. Me respondió Aníbal Garrido, diciendo que estaban haciendo todo lo posible. Sin embargo, que contaran con la plataforma Ticket Mundo para vender los boletos me pareció genial. Sin embargo, la compré. Lo visualicé. Puse el esfuerzo y energía en eso.
Pero, no les voy a mentir, también pensé lo contrario: “Bueno, es solo una entrada, con no ir tengo, es más la logística del viaje, hospedaje, alimentación, etc., ya vendrá otro evento y me prepararé mejor” ¿Quién mas se autosabotea para ser amigos?
En una semana de trabajo con la Cryptomanada, a mediados de Octubre, queríamos entrevistar a alguno de los organizadores del evento, pero estaban realmente full con su agenda, dividiéndose para estar en todas las entrevistas virtuales y presenciales, y no se pudo.
Previamente, por medio de Magmaverse, ya teníamos pautada una entrevista con ellos, por nuestro space de todos los viernes, a las 8pm, hora de Venezuela.
Yo me sentía un poco mal, tenía la voz afectada, casi susurraba, mi voz como la conocía y me gustaba, no la tenía pero había que sacar el trabajo. Al mal tiempo, buena cara. Así que, mejoré mi actitud a pesar de esa adversidad.
Se sumaron muchas personas al space, compañeros de Magmaverse, algunos de ustedes que me leen y también se conectaron, contactos, y los organizadores: Ezio y Aníbal. Estaba nerviosa, y a pesar de eso, trataba de mantenerme enfocada en el rumbo de la entrevista. Fue genial el space, se dio dinámico, fluido y natural. Al terminar, repartí los POAPS a los asistentes, incluyendo a los invitados. Esto fue el 21 de Octubre.
Ese sábado tenía un guayabo raro, una sensación. Me sentía mal pero fui a trabajar, a media jornada me vine a mi casa del malestar, y prácticamente, ese fue mi último día de trabajo allí.
Al otro día, domingo 23 de octubre, se me ocurre despertar temprano. ¿No les pasa que dicen “quiero dormir hasta tarde y se despiertan temprano”? Bueno, así. Eran las 8 de la mañana, un día lindo y fresco, el malestar cedía un poco aunque seguía con la voz afectada.
Y recibo un mensaje por telegram. ¡No me lo van a creer! ¡Era Aníbal!
Procedo a desmayarme, a asustarme, a todo lo anterior y más. Y bueno, comenzamos a hablar un poco, tuvimos una reunión por videollamada 10 minutos después, salí corriendo a vestirme, a verme medio presentable y no lo logré, toda fea, recién levantada.
No puedo contar mucho pero, me comentaba que le agradé en el space, mi actitud, mi vibra y que quería ver la posibilidad de que yo animara el evento de la Caracas Blockchain Week. Él no había terminado de decirlo o yo de leerlo, comencé a llorar como una niña chiquita. Me llené de una emoción, de un sentimiento indescriptible.
Al mismo tiempo, de un nervio increíble porque es un reto importante.
Él fue muy claro, me dijo: “hay otros 3 o 4 candidatos que estamos evaluando junto contigo”. Si alguien sabe de probabilidades saque las probabilidades de que me escogieran a mí, que de paso estaba en Maracaibo.
Lo primero que pensé ¿Cómo voy hasta Caracas? ¡Tengo que estar allí!
No me preocupaba nada más que llegar a Caracas. Pregunté por boletos terrestres, tomando en cuenta que no podía estar toda la semana, que al menos sería viernes y sábado, ya que, por mi trabajo como profesora de inglés no podía faltar tantos días al liceo. Sabía que un día me lo darían, a regañadientes, pero no una semana completa.
Busqué presupuestos de boletos por avión, todo.
Me desesperé y recurro a la persona más linda del mundo, mi amiga, mi hermana, que siempre está ahí para ver todo con una mejor perspectiva, la bella e inigualable @arlettemsalase, le conté todo y me dijo: “Mrk, tienes que ir a Caracas”.
Hablamos y me muestra una opción que yo no había sopesado. Y esa opción se convirtió en la persona que hizo mi sueño realidad, que en segundos hizo posible todo, absolutamente todo.
Llamo llorando, literalmente, a Arlette y le cuento que sí, que si voy, que esa opción que ella me había dicho era la correcta. Se abrieron las puertas, y todo lo demás pasó a segundo plano. Era la única que sabía que sería la Animadora de la Caracas Blockchain Week y que, gracias a sus consejos, lo logré.
Finalmente, contacto a Aníbal y me dice que soy yo la persona que animará.
Comenzamos las reuniones para definir los guiones, la agenda. Trabajar con él fue increíble, un profesional a la altura, solo tengo cosas buenas y positivas que decir de Aníbal Garrido. Y mi eterno agradecimiento con él por siquiera tomarme en cuenta y finalmente, decidirse por mí para esa enorme misión.
Me visualicé, ahí en el escenario, frente a ustedes, pero esta vez en mi casa y frente a la cocina, practicaba qué iba a decir o cómo lo iba a decir. ¡Quería gritarlo a todo el mundo pero no podía!
Mi compañera de la comunidad #100diasderesearch: Maargy, me contacta porque iban a lanzar una especie de telegram voices para hablar de gente resaltante de la comunidad, y así, conocernos mejor todos, y que habían decidido que yo sería la primera.
Obviamente, que me sentí muy emocionada, nerviosa y a la vez pensé “hay chicos con mejores perfiles que el mío, como el primo Oswaldo (Criptobravo) y tantos más que forman parte allí.
Pero si hay algo que la vida me ha enseñado y que yo he aprendido a ver, es que si se dan las oportunidades no podemos ir rechazándolas. Parece que apreciamos mas las oportunidades cuando no las tenemos que cuando sí, así que muy honrada, acepté.
Lo pasamos genial en ese telegram voice, creo que fluí como pez en el agua. Desde ese día me encontraba pidiendo deliverys y haciendo maletas para la Caracas Blockchain Week, quería compartir la noticia en la comunidad y no, no podía. Había que esperar que fuera oficial.

Al día siguiente, al abrir twitter, es mi amiga @arlettemsalase quien sube el tweet, la noticia, mi foto como Speaker en la Caracas Blockchain Week. ¡Ya era oficial, ya era de verdad, sí iba a pasar!
Me fui corriendo a hacerme las uñas el lunes 31 de octubre, y pedí que se inspiraran en los colores oficiales de la Caracas Blockchain Week y me encantó el resultado.

ENGLISH: Me before: the Caracas Blockchain Week event
Greetings, my faithful readers Hivers. How is the best community of the Web3 ecosystem? ¡The most vibrant and diverse! Happy to belong to this project and happy to tell you my latest adventure.
I confess that I am not a person who loves taking many photos of themselves, although in the event it did seem to. That’s just because of Hiver fever and that everything I see, experiment or live I want to come here and tell it with all the possible evidence and evidence. Who else is it?
Before the Caracas Blockchain Week, the event seemed to me great, the space conducive to bring together many people from the web3 community, crypto, NFTs, likewise, the perfect time to meet all my virtual cryptofriends, with who, day by day, shared via twitter and other social networks.
From the moment the tickets came out, I bought mine for the day I thought it was more feasible for me to attend, understanding that I am and live in the city of Maracaibo, Zulia state. I bought it for Saturday November 5th.
I must say, I found it strange that they did not have enabled payment in crypto and I went to the telegram group of the Ccs Blockchain Week to comment. Aníbal Garrido replied, saying that they were doing everything possible. But having the Ticket World platform to sell the tickets I thought was great. But I bought it. I saw it. I put the effort and energy into it.
But, I’m not going to lie to you, I also thought the opposite: "Well, it is only an entrance, with not going I have, it is more the logistics of the trip, lodging, food, etc., will come another event and I will prepare better". Who else is self-sabotaging to be friends?
In a week of work with the Cryptomanada, in mid-October, we wanted to interview some of the organizers of the event, but they were really full with their agenda, dividing to be in all the virtual and face-to-face interviews, and it was not possible.
Previously, through Magmaverse, we had already scheduled an interview with them, for our space every Friday, at 8pm, Venezuela time.
I felt a little bad, my voice was affected, I almost whispered, not almost talking, my voice as I knew it and I liked it, I didn’t have it but I had to get the job.
You know what they say: Bad weather, good face. So, I improved my attitude despite that adversity. Many people joined the space, magmaverse coworkers, some of you who read to me and also connected, contacts, and organizers: Ezio and Aníbal.
I was nervous, and despite that, I tried to stay focused on the direction of the interview. The space was great, it was dynamic, fluid and natural. At the end, I handed out the POAPS to the attendees, including the guests. This was October 21st.
That Saturday I had a weird feeling. I felt bad but I went to work, part-time I came to my house of discomfort, and practically, that was my last day of work there.
The next day, Sunday, October 23, I wake up early. Don’t they say "I want to sleep late and wake up early"? Well, that’s right. It was 8:00 in the morning, a nice, fresh day, the discomfort subsided a little even though his voice was still affected. And I get a message by telegram. I couldn’t believe it! It was Anibal!
I proceed to faint, frighten, all of the above and more. And well, we started talking a little bit, we had a video-call meeting 10 minutes later, I ran out to get dressed, to look half presentable and I didn’t make it, all ugly, just up. I can’t tell much but, he told me that he liked me in space, my attitude, my vibe and that he wanted to see the possibility of me being the Host of the Caracas Blockchain Week event.
He hadn’t finished saying it or I read it, I started crying like a little girl. I was filled with an emotion, an indescribable feeling. At the same time, of an incredible nerve because it is a major challenge. He was very clear, he told me: "there are 3 or 4 other candidates that we are evaluating together with you". If anyone knows of probabilities, take out the probabilities that they chose me, that I was in Maracaibo.
The first thing I thought How do I go to Caracas? I have to be there! I didn’t worry about anything but getting to Caracas. I asked for ground tickets, taking into account that I could not stay all week, which would at least be Friday and Saturday, because of my work as an English teacher I could not miss so many days in high school. I knew one day I’d get it, reluctantly, but not a whole week.
I looked up tickets budgets by land, by plane, everything. I despair and turn to the most beautiful person in the world, my friend, my sister, who is always there to see everything with a better perspective, the beautiful and unique @arlettemsalase .
"Girl, you have to go to Caracas", she told me. We talked and she showed me a choice I hadn’t weighed. And that choice became the person who made my dream come true, who in seconds made everything possible, absolutely everything.
I immediately called Arlette crying, literally, and I tell her that yes, if I go, that that option she had told me was the right one. The doors opened, and everything else took a back seat. She was the only one who knew she would be the Host of the Caracas Blockchain Week and that, thanks to her advice, I succeeded it.
Finally, I contact Aníbal and he tells me that I am the person who will be the Host.
We begin the meetings to define the scripts, the agenda. Working with him was incredible, a professional to match, I only have good and positive things to say about Aníbal Garrido. And my eternal thanks to him for even taking me into account and finally deciding for me for that huge mission.
I visualized myself, there on the stage, in front of you, but this time in my house and in front of the kitchen, I practiced what I was going to say or how I was going to say it. ¡ I wanted to yell at everyone but I couldn’t!
My community partner #100diasderesearch: Maargy, contacted me because they were going to launch a kind of telegram voices to talk about outstanding people in the community, and so, get to know us all better, and they had decided that I would be the first.
Obviously, I felt very excited, nervous and at the same time I thought "there are guys with better profiles than mine, like cousin Oswaldo (Criptobravo) and so many more who are part there. But if there is one thing that life has taught to me and that I have learned to see, it is that if opportunities are given we cannot go on rejecting them. It seems we appreciate opportunities more when we don’t have them than when we do, so very honored, I accepted.
We had a great time on that voice telegram, I think I flowed like a fish in the water. Since that day I was asking for deliverys and packing for the Caracas Blockchain Week, I wanted to share the news in the community and no, I could not. I had to wait for it to be official.

The next day, when opening twitter, it is my friend @Arlette who uploads the tweet, the news, my photo as Speaker in the Caracas Blockchain Week. ¡It was official, it was real, it was going to happen!
I ran off to get my nails done on Monday, October 31, and asked to be inspired by the official colors of the Caracas Blockchain Week and loved the result.

Hola Helena, que gran acierto fué tenerte como animadora de Caracas Blockchain Week, no pudo ser mejor, derrochaste brillo. Creo que formar parte de este evento en cualquiera de las formas posibles fue algo muy bonito, desde los participantes a los organizadores y todos los roles que allí se conjugaron. Yo se muy bien lo que se siente recibir ese mensaje por Telegram al igual que te pasó a ti! Es brutal que piensen en uno para estas cosas de forma que podamos dejar una pequeña huella en algunas personas, si esto ocurre, el trabajo se ha hecho.
