In Season

If you've seen this post and this other one, then you'd already know that I'm a big fan of picking fruits at the local farm. On my latest visit to the farm I found even larger courgettes than ever before.
We have been expecting a thunderstorm London but it didn't quite happen for me yesterday, so I decided to pop to the farm and risk it. We did get a few minutes of gentle rain, but nothing torrential in my neck of the woods.
I also grabbed some spinach and tomatoes this time, which ended up in today's dinner.
Alternative Chips
Have you ever tried courgette chips? I typed "courgette recipes" into google and this was suggested to me, so I gave it a try. Not a bad idea at all. Let's not kid ourselves, it doesn't taste anywhere as nice as actual chips made out of potatoes - that's a masterpiece nothing else can match. It's not quite as detrimental to the health, however, and it doesn't taste half-bad. The taste is greatly enhanced by a sprinkling of cheddar, best done when the chips are still hot to get that melted cheese taste.
Peace & Love,

Ah yes farm/garden fresh produce is the best! Kinda like children you can eat ;)
Zucchinis are best when that size as they don't get all seedy. We like to slice them up and use them like veggie pepperoni on the pizzas.
Awesome stuff Ade.
Ah very cleaver :)
Oh wow.
