Pre-post note: Here's the thing. I did not expect to see a video from Beme on Estonia just days after I had posted my massive 3300 words long post about Estonia's digital systems but I fully welcome it because I am truly proud of my country. Enjoy the video!
There was the thing, and here's the video.
Just a few days after I had finished writing my article on how Estonia has the most awesome tech-loving government, this video pops up on the internet from a company called Beme.
If you don't know what Beme is yet, it is a media company started by Casey Neistat and Matt Hackett back in 2014.
They first came out with an app that was way ahead of its time and failed for many reasons, which I might talk about in a post in the future. They then were bought by CNN for 25 million US dollars and are now in the process of becoming a news organization of the 21st century.
Right now they have 262k subscribers on YouTube and their content is extremely interesting. The whole concept behind Beme is awesome and I fully support what they are doing.
🤘 Rock on, E-stonia! 🇪🇪
