The game is borderline OK.
Tries to be Twin Peaks, while it succeeds in being a mix of Gossip Girl and Butterly Effect.
The gameplay is linear with pseudo-choices though I must admit it gives the impression of the player being in charge (he/she is not). The characters are mostly badly-written, superficial and annoying and the puzzles are ridiculous (e.g. find 6 beer bottles around you).
However, the game manages very well to hide its problems under the carpet and be presented as innovative. Also episodes 4 and 5 saved the day story-wise. If the player manages to get through the boredom of the first 3 episodes then it becomes better.
I have played worse games and have played better. My review would be neutral - if that was an option. I guess it would be fine to try out a borderline OK game IMO.
Any discussion on the game content is welcome. Are you thinking of playing LiS? Have you played it and have something to share? Feel free to comment. Cheers!
I have no interest to ever play this
Depends on your taste. Definitely not a high-quality game or something that fits the narrative-driven gamers.
