The first MLM company I ever joined (Empower) I made a YouTube video randomly teaching something I learned from the first module.
I didn't know anything about video marketing.
Hadn't even heard of ranking videos before.
But I just made a video because I had a big insight and I knew it could help others.
I titled it something that wasn't even centered around what I'd title it around now to really rank.
I didn't even CHECK to see if it ranked.
I just put it out there and then went to a party or something.
I remember checking my phone later and seeing that I had made a sale for the company.
It was the classic email from "Dave & Dave".
I'd seen hella of my friends get those emails and show them to me but I didn't have a Facebook audience or anything at the time so they eluded me.
Until I got one from YouTube...from that video...same day.
I didn't even know it was FROM that video until I called the woman up and asked her how on earth she'd even found my link (real professional Ben) and she told me "Oh, YouTube! I was searching for the company and you came up right away."
Then I did what Dave said and very VERY uncomfortably said something like "Uh, well areyouaninnercirclememberyet??" and when she said no I gave her the worst sales pitch ever about why she should join...and she did.
And she stuck around for a while too, if I remember correctly.
That first sale from the YouTube video generated a commission and then started generating MONTHLY commissions all from just ONE customer.
There's power in that stuff.
It was powerful for me before I even knew what I was doing.
Business opportunities obviously come and go.
Skills do NOT...
...not if you're consistent with getting better at them.
I've gone on to monetize video for a ridiculous amount of niches.
90% of stuff I do on YouTube I'll never show the marketing community because I know what would happen to it lol
10% I'm opening up more publicly this year with me on camera, which I'm pretty excited about, sharing what I know, the mistakes I'm overcoming, what I'm learning, etc.
Coolest part is that I eventually got to a point where others wanted to know what I was doing with video and I started teaching people what I was taught and THEY started getting results in all kinds of different niches too.
That was the coolest part for me.
Still is.
Before 2020 80%+ of EVERYTHING online will be video.
It's definitely a good time to scale up if you're already in the game of video marketing and ranking and all that good stuff.
It's definitely a good time to GET STARTED if you haven't even ranked your first video yet or are camera shy.
Whatever your biggest questions are with video, reach out and I'd love to help share what's working for me and what I'm learning in real time.
The biggest thing I'll say:
Don't underestimate the POWER of ONE video.
Just one can work some serious magic in your life.
And you're allowed to make as many as you want ;)
Be very careful with them.

Good luck!
Not with them anymore, haven't been for years. Nice job focusing on the micro ;)
You mean stockmarket (Envato)?
Sorry if I misunderstood :)
EN taught me a lot about internet marketing. Regardless of whether I am with them or if they are around, I will always be grateful for that. Yes, video marketing is amazing and after years of primarily blogging, I added video. Glad to see it is working so well for you!
