Here is a little surf video for you to enjoy. I know it's called Dailydoodle, but i do have other hobbies and figured it was appropriate to share them here as well.
This is my Son and his buddy in the water a week ago. It had been a while since I had flown the drone, but it turned out nicely.
Taken at the OceanSide CA Harbor beach. It was a beautiful evening and the sky was such an amazing color. There are some beautiful transitions of color that were definately not planned, but I'll still take some credit for catching them.

Great footage mate! I see what you mean about having to fly quite low to get decent footage. I can just imagine how small the surfer would have been if you were at 100ft instead of 20 or 50. voted! :)

Right? The colors blew my mind when I got home and started editing. I was so focused on the surfing that I didn't notice goldmine of color in most of the shots. The cool thing is that none of the shots were edited for color or even brightness. It just turned out beautiful like that.
No hue editing? Wow,
Aaah! To get in the water again...I would love to get back to the ocean and surf again. I learned to surf when I was 12. Mind you, I wasn't very good at it, but I loved the quiet when sitting out at backline.
Time to Steemit more, then I could probably.

You'll get out there again. One of my favorite things about surfing is sitting out there and having a Zen sort of moment where there is nothing happening except the now and the surf.
For sure... Just gotta get close to the sea. I live 500 kms away from it ... Soon. Very soon.

Hey, really nice post. Is it hard to fly drones? I'm curious. Maybe I can buy one for myself? Can you recommend me one?
The expensive ones are not hard to fly. They have numerous computers and automated return and land features if you feel like you're in trouble. The hard part is keeping things in frame and trying to make smooth shots that are pleasing to the eye.
I use the DJI drones. This video was shot with a Phantom 3 Advanced model. With the extra batteries and case it cost me about $1000.00 plus. But it has been a very fun although expensive toy.
