RE: Join DIY Tube Video Community For Freedom Of Speech And Earn Rewards

in #video6 years ago

Well, I guess who gets to define "clean and acceptable for the common public" is based on the company where our computers are at this time because we had some take down notices a while back from the web hosting company themselves.

So let us say it this way. We allow people to upload content to the extent that we are allowed to host it.

Which means no porn or extreme violence pretty much.

Our own governments limit us to some extent. It is the World we live in.

But DIY Tube supports the freedom of speech of a CHANNEL OWNER to the fullest extent that we are allowed by local laws and regulations.

Meaning that a channel owner is free to voice their own opinions without fear from harassment.

This does NOT give someone else the freedom to harass that individual. Quite the contrary. The channel owner has full control over their own channel.

If someone has a conflicting opinion then let them open their own channel and voice their own opinion.

BUT - freedom of speech does NOT extent to the plagiarism of another person's content. This is strictly prohibited on DIY Tube. We strongly protect and support the rights of the content creator.

Sort:

So, by that reasoning, there would be no reason to block anything that wasn't porn or extreme violence? Are there any other categories of video that would not be allowed?

What about parodies?
