Hey Guys.
Recently I purchased an inexpensive USB video capture card from Amazon. In the comming days I will be trying this out on a live stream with my laptop being my gaming PC while my main desktop will be taking the captured video/audio and running OBS and sending the stream to @vimm.
That's going to be the plan. I've had this card for the last few weeks but just haven't had the time to try it out. So now I will be going to give it a try.
I bought this card for roughly 24 dollars USD. But as of this writing it is currently $15.99. This card is USB 2.0 but I will be putting it into a USB 3 port on my desktop.
I did plug this card into both of my computers and windows recognized it straight away, so it is plug and play. I just haven't tried capturing any kind of feed yet.
So hopefully this will work out and can be an affordable option to capture audio/video from a second PC.
A link to the amazon page will be included below with a non affiliate link (I'm not an amazon affiliate. 😁)

Wow if this works then it sounds like a way better solution than the costly, and usually for me problem riddled, Elgato. I would really like to find something with drivers for Linux so I could get off Windows.
