I was offshore fishing with a few friends when all of a sudden someone reels up a octopus, I can tell you this is very rare and we didn't know what to expect. Just then without warning the eight armed mollusc shot a stream of ink and water at us. It barely missed my buddy Kit and it looked liked he did a Matrix move to avoid it! Quick fact- The octopus is a soft-bodied, eight-armed mollusc of the order Octopoda. Around 300 species are recognised and the order is grouped within the class Cephalopoda with squids, cuttlefish and nautiloids.
Sweet! That's the great thing about saltwater fishing. You never know what your going to pull up!
What a rare catch this was, but most importantly i still cant figure out how i wasn't covered in ink!! AWESOME VIDEO
