Yes steem power is good. I just hope that those who have too many can lease it out at affordable rates so that people can get it and still make some more from it.

Don't worry, it will come. I didn't earn any money in my first two weeks here.
For me personally, it's about not only making sure that Steemians audience engaged with you for reasons other than being in a certain category or to get their tips out of simple courtesy, but to stay consistent on your articles so the output of the money doesn't drop so hard. My first post in months after my long hiatus from Steemit since making my account on here still managed to rake out forty cents approximately (with a powered up Steem Power strategy ever since) but it went south almost more than a quarter of its former gains by this point. If my misfortune is because i don't use links, pictures or videos (one of my other only articles covers this), or because i didn't invest in a crypto coin mining process from the other side of Steemit's functions, then I'll look into those things, but mostly im just follower building and looking for interesting things to write about so that those salaries are justified. That is a tricky question: But the short answer would be that you have 10 free 100% upvotes each day. If you use them all on yourself you are abusing it.

I actually don't think that you need Steem Power to be successful here. You can achive a lot without much Steem Power. I think most people will do just great here without Steem Power. But it is a great plus to have or earn because of all the benefits. This post was particularly aimed at entrepreneurs who think about a money investment. The average person doesn't have money to invest in the first place. But we can earn. ;)

Let me tell you that asking others for followers on STeemit is not cool. You can do that in your post but that's it. I have done the same, most people probably did. But it is not a good strategy to create relationships.

Well, the purpose of the video was to explain that so I guess it failed you. Sorry for that. The short version is the more Steem Power you have the more money your upvotes are worth.
I have started turning SBD into STEEM so I can power up, it's amazing to find out how good of an investment SP can be.
What mechanism do you use? The convert function is not ideal for that. Better is to sell your SBD on the marketplace for Steem. I heard that selling it on Bittrex is even more profitable but I never bothered to test that.
It's only this extra bit I have decided to put into SP due to only starting recently and knowing how much is helps to have more SP. I use 50/50 for my posts too so I can gain more but will be looking to sell my SBD to put towards things I need like a new PC/Laptop.

Yes, it is easy to get lost in all the million things happening here. But Steem Power is such a fundamental element of what is going here that it is good to know a bit more about it.
Another great article @flauwy !! I really like how you were able to get Steemy to talk in sync with what you say in the video, super cool. I am working on an article, which I should post tonight, about when the best time to convert SBD to Steem is based on how the system works. It's something that I'm actually just understanding after being here over a month and feel it could help others better understand and overall, help them convert at times that makes the most money.
That said, I feel like your article did a tremendous job explaining many of the in's and out's of Steem Power. Are you on discord at all? I'd really like to chat if you had a few minutes. Converting Steem Dollars is fine but make sure not to use the convert functions. It is better to sell it on an exchange.
