I'm glad you enjoyed this episode! We had fun making it. Sprouted bread is when the wheat grains are sprouted before grounding, the result is a bread made out of a 'vegetable' instead of a grain. It's delicious!

I really enjoyed this episode. I felt like there were a couple interesting things to talk about and we didn't wander around too much. We've gotten used to having to find one thing to focus on in the Torah portion every week and I liked talking that through.

Ben already answered on sprouted bread, but I was going to add that you can actually get sprouted flour, where the wheat has started to sprout, then been dried and ground. My sister who can't tolerate wheat can actually eat sprouted flour, so we have clear evidence that it really does change the grain and make it a lot easier to digest and use. And it's just really good, too.
