Been waiting to say that for a while now. Seems like forever ago I signed the paperwork and now here we are, slanging ice cold brewskis and sending out some delicious food. I must admit, it feels good. Not to say there isn't more work to be done, because there is. I've found it's a lot like buying a house, you are NEVER done working on it.
So here's a little update on the bar along with meeting some of the staff.

My bar is a little north of PV in a town called Bucerias, but I would be more than happy to host!!! MORE THAN HAPPY!!!! So @roelandp keep that in mind and hit me up if you think it could happen :)

That place looks really awesome! Love Midland! I got to see them a couple of years ago when they just had the one album out. They are probably one of my favorite country artists right now. I hope you can get all of the gremlins worked out quickly. It looks like a place I would definitely want to hang out for a while at!

We are talking about going to Cabo at some point. My brother in law and his wife have a time share down there. We were supposed to go about five years ago, but the plans fell through. Does your place have a website with a menu?
I've heard Cabo is nice but can be pretty expensive. I do have a menu online, you can find it on our FB page or our google page. Here is a pic though to make it easy for ya!

@intothewild, darn it I missed this post! Ozzie's looks fantastic! And that's a brilliant idea to host HIVE 2022. I'm definitely in, PV would be a great place, and where better than your bar! Plus that would give me lots of competition for the bags tournament you would also host...

Open for business, those three simple words have taken some time to come to fruition, but you did it, congratulations and we wish you all of the luck in the world.
Luck is a funny word that is usually realized through hard work and fortitude and has very little to do with being lucky.
Luck comes into play when buying a lottery ticket but has very little to do with making a dream like yours come true.
Sports bar, great burgers, with the best fries in the area, sounds like my kind of place.
Ketchup is a must, save the mayo for turkey sandwiches. 😁
I'll say that I've been fortunate, in that I've been in the right place at the right time and the universe has put people into my life at specific times to help me with current events. Very fortunate and very thankful.
I think @farm-mom was maybe going to have a talk with you about a trip.....either that, or drug you and force you on a plane down here. I guess you have two options, just make the easy one bro.

And as I can see, it opens right onto the sidewalk, so you could even conquer a piece of street, though I'm not sure if that's even in a thing in PV. What's the story behind the name, though? A reference to Australia, or the (in)famous rock musician?
HiveFest 2022 in Mexico sounds something I can fully get behind. Though I am nowhere close, I would definitely go. Portugal, Thailand, and Poland, maybe it's about time this event happened in Latin America (while still not too far from the US).

Well, rumor has it that the street I'm on is going to be turned into a Malecon in the next few years, so the only vehicles allowed will be people who live on this road, and delivery drivers. As of now, the side of the street I'm on doesn't allow parking, but the other side does. They give out permits for on sidewalk/street tables, but they've stopped giving them out since covid hit.
The name is a nick name of mine that my family called me growing up. My name is Austin, and they'd call me "Oz" or "Ozzie" or "Ozwald Copple Pot", lol, but "Ozzie's" worked the best for the bar. Short and sweet.
Hive fest down here would be a dream come true. I'd love to see it happen.

Awesome! I went to PV one time with my cousins and my aunt. It was really cool! I can't wait to come there again, and have somewhere to go that I'll be familiar with!

Nah, just going with the Modelo brands right now like Corona, Pacifico, Modelo especial, & Victoria. You can get Heineken, coors light, and budweiser certain places, but not many people order it. I am limited on space so I have to be very wise in my decisions of what to carry.
I'm trying to hunt down some good IPA's but I have yet to try any I really like. No brewing for me right now, too much on my plate as it is.
