I tried a few of them. I can say that shotcut is very limited and just for cutting a bit out or something, you will get problems if you need more than absolutly basic stuff. It´s true that its really easy to use.
I also tried Hitfilm and it was ok.
I think they are not compareable to the expensive opponents, but very usefull if you need a editing software fast and for basic stuff.
Da Vinci Resolve is said to be very powerful but i haven´t tried yet.
There is often the problem that you cant export in any solution in the free version...
