A 24 year old man from Tauranga New Zealand recently recieved jail time for neglecting his 2 dogs.
THe man pleaded guilty to 4 counts of animal cruelty for neglecting his 2 stafforshire bull terriers..
The dogs were found chained to a post in the back yard with worms and fleas..
The dogs were 40 percent under weight and had been left outside in torrential rain.
The man recieved 4 and a half months jail and was also ordered to pay court costs and reporation.
He is also not allowed to own another dog for 3 years
