Great stuff @liberosist. If I wasn't so against labeling myself as one thing or another besides The World Travel Pro! lol I suppose I too would be an optimistic nihilist.
What turned me toward that way of thinking is most certainly my 10 plus years of living out of a backpack. Traveling has taught me so much, but one of the biggest life lessons is to be content with the moment and feel blessed with what you have now. It doesn't matter how rich or how poor a person is; happiness comes from with-in. In the end we all decompose the same way!
Some of the happiest people I've met from Cambodia to Guatemala had nothing but a chicken shack and their families. That in itself was one of life's greatest lessons.
By the way I'm new on steemit and to blogging. Travel is what I know and what I do best. I write highly informative articles, some do really well and the comments are always great.
After seeing @diabolica's blog and her rapid success. I'm thinking creative story telling of my adventures is the way to go. My reports and tips are very informative and well written, but does anyone care? If you have time I'd love any advice you can give me. Thanks again. I'll certainly be following you for now on. Keep up the good work!
