Very cool! Thanks for putting this together. I was really surprised to see @haejin generating so many views. From an investor standpoint, maybe the rewards he's been receiving might actually have some justifications? Or, to think about it another way, do his rewards generate the amount of views he gets? I'd love to see @steemit chime in with some more detailed analytics in the future.
Very cool to see two of my posts made the list. In both cases, they were things which I thought would be really valuable to a wider audience outside of Steemit. I'm glad to see so many people benefitted from those posts. :)
Thanks for reading! I was also surprised to see @haejin dominating the list. I'm sure some of those are just related to the overall controversy surrounding him, but I think he probably is actually generating a good deal of traffic aside from that just by how dominating he is in the list. I'm planning to start calculating a metric for different authors of average number of views per dollar of rewards, and I have a feeling he will have a surprisingly high metric. I'll be sure to throw you into the calculation just to satisfy your curiosity! :)
I'd say we shouldn't exclude the possibility that those views are bloated with view bots just to give him an additional layer of credibility, so his defenders might have a number to point to or for us to be having this conversation about how surprised we are that he is bringing in value. Those views would be super easy to manipulate.
I would love to be 'thrown' into the mix too at some point for my weekly contest whom @lukestokes was 'introduced' to last week when we hit top numbers again for the day on comments (3 weeks running) Most number of comments for a newbie? What would be the classification of a newbie however as I am 5 months in. Statistics are SOOooo interesting till now I was under the impression it was only @arcange doing it. Nice one bud, very interesting indeed and thanks a ton.. Cheer$;)
