Beginner's guide to Starting Crypto Investing

in #vincentb7 years ago (edited)

So I've decided to write a very basic guide bulleted with some very simple and basic steps to make Crypto trading as cheap and easy as possible.

Someone may have already done one guys but as I said this one aims to be simple so here it goes:
(NOTE: Links are to my referrals so if you don't want to use them that's fine, I know some people hate assisting others so it's all good, for coinbase we both get money though :) )

  • Set up account with BINANCE (https://www.binance.com/?ref=13721827) You can trade without verification here.
  • Set up an account with Coinbase (https://www.coinbase.com/join/5a268621beec2500ec57470e)
  • Get verified here then set up GDAX (https://www.gdax.com/) It's easier to verify via Coinbase.
  • If a EURO user or have Revolut then use a SEPA payment to top up your Euro address on Coinbase , again this is cheaper than direct Card payment but slower but its faster than a normal Wire transfer.
  • Once you have it transfer to ETHER to your coinbase wallet (ETH is cheaper and faster than BTC )
    there.
  • Go to BINANCE account and take note of the ETHER wallet receiving address.
  • Go to GDAX and your ETHER will be in your wallet (cheaper to send from GDAX than Coinbase)
  • Transfer funds to BINANCE.
  • Lastly on BINANCE buy maybe 0.1 to 0.5 BNB with your first trade, be default on BINANCE if you hold BNB you pay 50% less on any trade fee as it uses this directly.

So that's it, hope this is useful to some people. If it helps one person that'd be great as it took me a while to get through it all!
