So for years I bought custom vinyl at various places, and usually for an inflated price!
I wanted to own my own Vinyl Cuttin Machine, however they were between 500-$1,000 for a entry level machine.
Vinyl itself was expensive per roll for the big rolls it used, and alot of vinyl was wasted.
Transfer Tape is also not cheap, and the very large rolls can be very expensive.
Link to rolls of tape, THEY LAST AWHILE.
So somehow my wife talked me into going into Hobby Lobby one day, and there I stumbled upon the Cricut Explore Air 2.
a Very nice machine, small can do tons of things, but best of all can make vinyl stickers from 6x12, to 12x12, even 12x24!
Does not take up alot of room, and does an excellent job, the software is easy to learn, and use also.

Now they just came out with a new machine, that does even more.
They also have cheaper machines like the Explore Air original, and Explore One.
The different Machines offer different possibilites, and do some things the others cannot from cheapest to most expensive.
Price $ ?
Cricut Maker - $399.99
Cricut Explore Air 2 - $249.99
Cricut Explore Air - $179.99
Cricut Explore One - $149.99
You can probably find all of some of these even cheaper online, Maybe Amazon, Ebay, etc...

They also have tons of accessories, and extras.
To cut you use a MAT - a MAT is a sticky plastic board, that comes in Strong, Normal, and Light levels of sticky.
So for cuttin harder materials or tricky types of vinyl you would use the Strong.
For normal vinyl, and thicker paper such as card stock etc, you would use Normal Mats.
For really thin vinyl, maybe some t-shirt transfer materials, and thin types of paper you would use the Light Mats.
They have tools for Weeding the Vinyl, and many many more...
The Cricut Design Space software, is easy to learn and use, and looks like this...
There are some really good places to get vinyl at a good price.

Watch out for their deals , and jump on purchases on the correct days to score alot of free vinyl with your order.
I recommend Oracle 651 Vinyl over any other brand, it lasts along time, holds up to weather, and the sun very well.
