The Open Air Museum offers many examples from Russian woodworking. The most famous of the UNESCO World Heritage List, listed in the 22 small dome of the Church of the Transfiguration Kiji Pogost.

The domes are made of wooden material similar to snakes without any nails. It is also said that the domes change color during the day: silver in the daytime, magenta when it is dark, and gold before rain or storm.
