2-Hunza Valley

The Hunza Valley is mountainous valley in Gilgit Baltistan region, it is formerly a princely state. The Hunza valley is situated north/west of Hunza River, at an elevation of around 2,500 metres.

Murree is a mountain resort town, located in the Galyat region of the Pir Panjal Range, within the Rawalpindi District of Punjab, Pakistan. It forms the outskirts of the Islamabad-Rawalpindi metropolitan area, and is about 30 km (19 mi) northeast of Islamabad City. It has average altitude of 2,291 metres (7,516 ft)

7- Shandur Pas

Shandur Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 12,200 feet (3.700 m) above the sea level, located in Chitral, Pakistan. The road to the pass is extreme. Expect a rough gravel road and driving only in 1st and 2nd gear. Very steep climbs/descents with narrow hairpins in one of the most beautiful, but isolated and rugged landscapes on Earth.

The road to the top, called Gilgit-Shandur road, is gravel and very narrow. The road is winding, in some places only wide enough for one vehicle, and in many places bordered by a drop of hundreds of meters (many hundreds of feet) unprotected by guardrails. Shandur is often called the 'Roof of the World'. The top is flat, a plateau and can be crossed between late April and early November.

8- Rawalakot

Rawalakot is a valley situated in the heart of district Poonch of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It is shaped like a saucer with an altitude of 1615 meters. It is accessible through Islamabad by a three and a half hour long drive. The weather in the valley stays cold throughout the year with an average temperature of 20°C in summers.

9- Ziarat

A visit to Quetta is incomplete without a trip to Ziarat. Situated 76 miles (3 hours by car) from Quetta, at an altitude of 8400 feet above sea level, Ziarat is a holiday resort amidst one of the largest and oldest Juniper forests in the world. It is said that some of the Juniper trees are as old as 5000 years. The name Ziarat means 'Shrine' a local saint, Kharwari Baba, is belived to have rested in the valley and blessed it. After his death he was buried here. People frequently visit the saint's shrine, which is 10 km by jeep from Ziarat.

10-Jhelum Valley

This is an ideal valley for both the domestic and international tourists. The curling river Jhelum passes through from East to West between the high green mountains of this valley and joins the river Neelum at Domel near Muzaffarabad city.

A 59 Km long metalled road runs along the river Jhelum from Muzaffarabad to Chokothi, which is located adjacent to line of control (LoC). Buses & wagons ply on this route regularly.a.jpg
