Well, guys, Voluntary Japan LIVE! (VJ LIVE!) is back online!

Today the show completed its 51st episode, and I am feeling more inspired and motivated than ever to keep talking to people, keep networking, and keep making noise. A lot of good stuff and interesting interviews are currently in the works, and today's show was all part of that goodness, as I interviewed Shea Roberts (@lonestar85) of the Lone Star Under the Rising Sun Podcast.

You can check out today's LIVE interview here.

We had a good talk on Japan, Voluntaryism, Shea's Podcast, and the good and bad of the social media revolution. The wonderful topic of MySpace even came up! We were joined live by @cryptic-cynic and my good friend Raphael in the chat, and they pinged some interested questions, comments, and ideas off of us, throughout the course of the show.

What's coming up next for VJ LIVE?

  • GUESTS - I have a growing list of interesting people I want to get on the show. Lots to do! If you'd like to be on the show sometime, too, ket me know in the comments and we'll set it up.

  • STREAMING SOFTWARE/DLive - I am still at a loss for how to connect multiple guests (as is done in Google Hangouts/YouTube) via OBS and the DLive format. My guest today, Shea, did give me some pointers on possible solutions via software I was previously unaware of, so we'll see how that works out.

  • PATREON - If you'd like to help me continue to tweak the show and make a more high-quality-production, professional podcast/LIVE interview series, please consider becoming a Voluntary Japan Patreon subscriber HERE. This will also get you access to Patron exclusive content/goodies, such as our monthly live chat, Patron-only posts, and postcard snail mail correspondence from Japan!

Well, I guess that's about it for now. Enjoy the show, and thanks for stopping by!
