Thanks for calling in Anj, it took me ages to work out the commenting side of this - that's why I keep going on about it like a broken record! But it makes a huge difference to the Steemit experience - and once you realise looking at other people's posts is time you need to spend just as much as creating your own - it becomes much more rewarding you start enjoying more content from others, and as they see your comments they come back to look at your posts. I don't really know if it makes a massive difference that I share the accounts I enjoy on my blog, but I like doing it and if they get just one new follower it has to be worth it.

Hiya Coff
Commenting and reading: I agree. It makes all the difference. It's difficult to stay on top of it though. I'm thinking of changing my Steemit practice to make sure I've got enough time to do everything.
@Prydefoltz said something that helped me stop to think about my priorities. Up until now, I've been spending a large % of time talking and faffing about in Discord, neglecting my commenting/reading time. I'm gonna take a leaf out of her book and enjoy the comments, writing, reading first. If there's time later, then I get to play in Discord.
cheers
Anj :)
