Thank you very much @carmalain7 , sometimes I am fortunate to find on here people who mesh with my decidedly alternative outlook on life. You are of course quite correct, when we press the post button and unleash our post on this platform it immediately get's lost in the deluge of new content. How to get around this is part of the major challenge Steemit faces - maybe in time it will be resolved as the platform is still in Beta. But there is much you can do yourself to keep your post in the eyes of those that you would have see it - replying to comments to remind them of your own work, leaving your post link in discord channels, using the varied resteem and upvote services.
