Yea dude! I have read a few of the studies that suggest it does not affect you enough to be illegal while driving, they seem just as biased as the early studies done stating your killing brain cells with use.
It is very situational based but it definitely does have some effects depending on its use which even to me an advocate for legalization warrants bylaw enforcement, it was only recreational use that was legalized and whether I want it or not will be held in the same regard as alcohol.

Drink drivers speed without realising it, and they have poor reaction times.
Marijuana drivers will most likely be driving slower than the speed limit as they are paranoid. These street racers are probably not drinking or smoking, they are just being little bastards in their cars and wrapping them around trees because they have no control of their car
Looking at the incident reports they were only under the influence of marijuana, the point I was making in the video is that if the substance is going to upheld with charges in the same way as alcohol we to must treat it in the same regard otherwise we are only working against ourselves with legalization resulting in further bylaw creation and enforcement.
I do agree typically when stoned we drive more cautiously but if your at that I can’t open my eyes level of stoned you shouldn’t be driving at all never mind street racing. Yes they are being little bastards but those little bastards are going to wreck a good thing for the rest of us in the same way my parents generation wrecked having a drink in the car as here in Canada open alcohol in the car is an impoundable charge despite blowing less then the legal limit.

Fair one, I did misunderstand, so apologies for that.
I think the main reason Cannabis is not, and will not be legalised in the UK is because our youth would abuse it hard. Teenagers in the UK will start drinking at 15 and get out of hand with it, and now they have raised the alcohol ID from 18 to 25 because of these little bastards
@coolguy222 Nonsense, that remark (and mis-spelling) shows how little you know about the effects of Marijuana.
I believe you misunderstood what he was saying, the effects of the substance do not change just from legalization. I know many people that cannot drive after smoking as they become erratic on the road, unsafe for other drivers.
Someone’s spelling does not relate to knowledge of the subject in any shape or form, thanks for the laugh 😆

I can't begin to imagine who would street race while stoned. It makes no sense at all. As an occasional Cannabis smoker, the only place I want to be after getting high is in bed or on the sofa. You couldn't pay me enough to go and fire up my RX-7 and go drifting while stoned.
Its like asking a guy on Heroin to go for a 400m sprint...how can any stoner find the motivation or energy to go street racing? I'm sorry but if you said they were drunk that would make sense, but stoned, I doubt it.
Well I for one have done it, I was one of those idiots. I have also evaded the police while stoned but those days are behind me. I ended up loosing my license for quite a while in the end which I completely understand.
You can doubt all you want but I have also seen a heroine addict sprint for his life but not the moments directly after taking his hit.
Every substance affects each person differently and should not be used while driving which was precisely my point, you may feel ok but in these two circumstances they definitely were not.
