I think many of us missed the boat when it comes to investing in cryptocurrencies. I heard about bitcoin a loooooong time ago, but didn't see it as concerning someone other than someone in the finance world, or some kind of an investor! But it's better late than never. lol@ I'd be typing this blog post from a beach in Malibu without a care in the world! Could still happen :)
I doubt whether the technology in and of itself can. More marketing and merchant adoption will help, however enough to generate a critical mass of users? I still don't see the compelling use case, from a user perspective.
I like Dash's governance however it's become to rigid. I was shocked to hear it now cost 5 Dash (over $1500!) to just submit a proposal, that's craziness to me! It discourages smaller scale outreach initiatives imo. That's the problem when only those at the top of the food chain get to decide what initiatives have value, they can only assess a limited amount of proposals.
I still think Steem is on a better track in terms of having a way regular people can earn cryptocurrency and anyone can post about an initiative leaving for the community to decide it's worth.
@nanzo-scoop - Hindsight is truly a wonderful thing that makes us kick ourselves in the pants!! I am kicking myself for not paying attention to Steemit last year and not finding out what this Bitcoin stuff was all about back in 2010!

I like what you have to say about compelling use cases, but I do think Dash is the best promoter of it's own dogfood so far, except for maybe Ether.
