We just arrived in the Mexican Pueblo Mágico, Tulum. Once again, we experienced some of the crazy weather that the jungle of Tulum wanted to throw our way. It will be perfectly sunny, then 5 minutes later - a torrential downpour. Wait 5 more minutes and it's sunny again. It seems like this happens over and over in Tulum.
In today's video, we check out the ocean, the incredible Mayan ruins near Tulum, we eat some local food, and share our first impressions of this very unique city.

I heard that Banco Inbursa and CI Banco both had slightly lower ATM fees than Azteca (MXN 17.40) but I haven't had chance to check that and the advice might be out of date.. and if you get fees refunded anyway it doesn't really matter!
Tulum is gorgeous! I was there almost 20 years ago. Took a tour bus down from Playa Del Carmen and the bus driver was doing shots of tequila. 😳
Man, you have some stories! The bus driver doing shots of tequila - oh dear! Hahaha
It was pretty crazy. The driver only did a few shots when we stopped but the tour guide was certifiably smashed. It made it all the more memorable.
