Happy birthday to your Dad! In fact, it's Sam dad's birthday today too! He's 69, but also strong for his age. Best wishes to him for the upcoming year! 😊

Thank you so much brother!! Means a lot man! And I also wish that for him as well :) he's really the best dad! I'm a lucky son.
Winny out...for now ;)
PS: where r u guys now in the world? :D
It's great to hear you have a good father-son relationship! :)
We live in Bangkok now, have been for the past year and a bit. Yes, we know our Steemit name might be a bit deceptive, but it's not meant to be. We started this Steemit account to blog about our current and past travel experiences. We still travel, but not constantly. Every month, Becca has to do the visa run (Sam is half Thai, so he's good), but before we lived in London and made several European trips. Yet, still have a lot of travelling to do!
Heard from Mo (waybeyondpadthai) that you are in and around Thailand. She mentioned you in our last meet-up (cycling around the Green Lung) :) don't worry, only good things ;)
Wow, that is so very awesome to hear that you are not living in my country :D How's Thailand you guys? How come Thailand, despite the fact that Sam is half Thai. Oh...I actually have a very interesting question concerning the military...did he actually have to go? Maybe you can answer me that privately :D
Are you guys full time dtubers?
She better had said something nice about me!! Jk ;) That's very nice to hear and I saw that vlog and it looks like you guys had an amazing time together!
Winny out...for now ;)
Thailand is great! Cheap living compared to Europe, but since we lived in Europe for most of our lives there is a sense of sadness as all our friends and family (not for Sam) are there. Still we're starting a new chapter and we will see how this goes!
We're in Thailand since Sam started his MBA last May and will finish at the end of this year. Becca came along for the adventure and has been teaching since December, but before was in Cambodia working with a NPO in conservation.
Regarding the military since Sam is a student it has been deferred, but he'll have to come to that stage next year. Therefore, still unsure about the long-term in Thailand. His (older) brother volunteered (as he thinks he's unlucky with the lottery) and did six months since he had a degree. If he did the lottery and got the 'Red' ball in the draw, it would have been a year service (with degree). No degree is two years, but volunteering is one year instead of two. Or if you're a ladyboy or have poor health, you get exempt. Hope that helps and Sam knows it a tough decision: citizenship or time, which one do you value more. If you do have any other questions regarding this, send us a message on Discord - travelling-two#5596
Not full time anything. We are just blogging as a hobby and trying out videos too. We're just seeing where this journey goes! 😊
