in #vlogger6 years ago (edited)

Ever heard of vlogging or video blogging? Nowadays, many people like to record videos on various interesting topics, points of view and their opinions about certain things, or their daily lives. This time, let's try to plunge into the world of video blogging.

Ways (Steps)

image

  • Choose topics to make a vlog. You can create a vlog with any topic, as long as your vlog is not boring, offensive to any particular party, or illegal. Look for inspiration from other vloggers, such as Ria Ricis, Arief Muhammad (Poconggg), Laurentius Rando, or Kemal Palevi. In order for your vlog to be successful, create unique content that fits your identity. Do not imitate content from other vlogs.

  • Create a YouTube channel with an interesting name. Make sure you choose your username carefully, since random user names certainly do not interest the audience.

  • Make at least 10 great and interesting videos. When first starting a vlog, upload a video every day. After that, you can upload the video once every other day if desired. Try to upload videos regularly, as viewers will check your channel as you schedule to upload videos.

  • Upload a video response to a well-known related video. As such, the video will earn at least one-fifth of its original video display. The Awesomeness TV channel on YouTube lets you send video responses to the How to be a YouTube Star video series.

  • Become an active YouTube member. Your channel will not be glimpsed if you post the video every few years. Capitalize the title of the video to attract audience interest. If possible, try scheduling a particular day to upload a video. To become a vlogger, upload at least 3-4 videos per week. If you have trouble creating a video, try creating one video per week.

  • Edit your video. A well-edited video will attract viewers. Read the guide to using the video editing software you own. Windows computers include Windows Movie Maker, Apple computers provide iMovie, while Android phones have Movie Maker apps.

  • While learning to edit videos, set also banners, video thumbnails, and avatars. If you've been accepted into a YouTube Partner, you can use various new options to edit videos, one of them using custom video thumbnails. You can easily manage your avatar, but if you want to upload a banner, you'll need to select and edit the image to fit it. While editing, make sure you include text, facial photos, and a cool background.

  • Once you have a good reputation in the YouTube community, try signing up to become a YouTube Partner. To sign up, your video should at least have been viewed several thousand times. Once you become a YouTube Partner, you can earn money by allowing YouTube to show ads on your videos. That's how vlogers earn money from their videos. In addition, videos from YouTube Partners will also appear more frequently in search results.

  • Communicate with your followers. Do not ignore followers. Take time to reply to the comments, messages, and video responses you receive. Thus, you will leave a good impression on the followers, and your followers will certainly feel good about it.

Tips

  • Create a Facebook and Twitter account to interact with followers and inform content updates. You can also share images on both social networking sites.
  • Do not post video links indiscriminately as they may be considered spam attempts. Try asking your friends to spread information about your channel. Before sending a video link to someone's channel, make sure you get in touch with that person first.
  • Do not worry if you have not got followers yet. All successful vloggers start their channel from scratch.

WARNING

  • Do not beg like and customers if you just created a channel, or your channel will be labeled bad. Wait until you get some followers first.
