Hi guys ! It's @lecongdoo3 again ! :)
Today, I'm going to tell you about my hometown, specifically how it has changed over time.
I’ve been living in a run-down neighborhood in Nghe An province which is located around 300 kilometers southerly from Hanoi. Over some decades, my hometown has witnessed several remarkable changes in both positive and negative ones.

I’ve been told that around 30 years ago, Nghe An was such an absolutely poor and old-fashioned countryside that there was merely one market for trading food and goods. It obviously reflected the under-developed economy status of the province. Additionally, most of the houses were cottages and concrete had not sprung up at that time, so the houses were not likely to be durable enough to endure in extreme weather. Therefore, in that underprivileged condition, the majority of land was utilized for intensive cultivation in order to boost the development of local agriculture leading to economic growth. Additionally, hills and mountains were exploited mostly for planting. From social perspective, my hometown then was quite deserted but the locals there were incredibly friendly. Additionally, guests coming from other areas were always welcomed by the residents though they lived on a budget.
A small corner in my village. It's poor but peaceful. Children freely play a lot of traditional games on the fields and roads. It's my childhood. :) I'm very proud of it ! :D
Nowadays, Nghe An is turning a new leaf with a considerably rapid development. There is an increasing number of modern architectures like skyscrapers and shopping malls or even specialized areas for kids and adults to entertain. Meanwhile, the population of the province which involves various immigrants has increased significantly over the years. It tends to be overpopulated. Thus, an eclectic mix of public facilities have been constructed everywhere such as hospitals with a range of advanced medical devices to deal with an enormous rise in demand. Besides, numerous prestigious schools have offered thousands of qualified graduates every year. Furthermore, bridges and highways are upgraded by the cutting-edge materials and technologies like cable-stayed bridges or international standardized express ways.
A bridge in my hometown. I walked on the bridge many times. From that viewpoint, I could see a lot of breath-taking scenes. :)

Some say that people have changed in a negative way over time, but, in my opinion, the more things change, the more people keep intact. So, I do believe that our cultural heritages including wonderful friendliness of the locals, our close-knit community and especially the incredible behavior of residents towards others will be definitely preserved if in the future Nghe An will still maintain this trend of development to handle increasingly essential needs of citizens in the information technology age.

The interesting thing is change scares people but without any changes we cant move forward if its better then before we dont now before it has happen. keep it up :)
Thanks. Absolutely. Change always has two distinct sides. The most important thing is we need to know how to fix the cons and develop the positive points. It would be a long way to come but we'll get there if we keep moving forward. :)

Hi @lecongdoo3, Nghệ An ở vùng nào đấy em? Bài viết chi tiết quá nhỉ
Dạ em ở Thanh Chương ạ. Cái ảnh cuối cùng là ở Thanh Chương đó chị. Còn mấy ảnh có tượng bác Hồ thì ở thành phố VInh. :)
Chị @lenancie ơi. Thanks chị nha. :D
I upvoted. Great photos. When I lived in San Francisco bay area, the money that flowed in caused housing to rise to astronomical levels and it started pushing people out (including tech people). Do you see something similar in your old hometown with all this new growth? Are you guys doing anything to mitigate gentrification?
Thanks. We're on the way helping our hometown to develop more by doing a lot of activities like volunteering, upgrading devices, investing more in education, etc. However, there are some mountain areas that the residents are still underprivileged. But I strongly believe the authority will have right policy to resolve those problems. :)
Hồi trước, mình tới Hà Nội du lịch được 2-3 ngày nhưng chưa có dịp tới Nghệ An. Nhìn hai bức hình Then and Now là thấy rõ sự phát triển của tỉnh ha <3
You should use 50/50 payment for increasing income. 100% power up is not profitable choice when SBD is more than 1 USD.
Yeah. I just knew that yesterday. I'm new here so I lack experience. I wanted to have more SP first and I thought my voting weight would increase. But now I know I should put 50/50 when SBD is more valuable than dollar. :)
You can always change your SBD to SP :)
Okay. Thanks for your advice. :)
