RE: Vocab-ability–41 (clud, clus = close, shut) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

in #vocab-ability7 years ago

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. Conclude
I concluded my internship with remarkable experience and a disciplinary certificate.
  2. Seclude
My friend told me he wanted to live on a secluded apartment.
  3. Exclusive
The exclusive entry for premium members of the club was started two days ago.
  4. Reclusive
Being reclusive is not a good thing when you are living abroad.
  5. Claustrophobia
My claustrophobia is out of control when I look at the bottom from the roof top.

As for #5, it seems you misunderstood the word. Your context implies a fear of heights, not claustrophobia.

You are right. I have used the word for heights instead of the closed spaces.
