RE: Vocab-ability–169 (par = equal) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. Par
I knew things could be 'up to par' (or, not); but, until now, I never connected that with golf.
  2. Subpar
A subpar submarine could kill it's crew.
  3. Compare
Comparing things allows us to make better decisions.
  4. Parallel
I get parallel lines, it's the parallelogram that's confused me; why should lines sing?
  5. Disparage
Don't disparage me, I'm not a singing parallelogram.
