RE: Vocab-ability–174 (pel, puls = push, force) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Repel
The things attract if their charges are uniqu or repel if they are alike.

  2. Expel
I forced my memories to expel it.

  3. Propel
A part of what helped propel him was his generosity.

  4. Dispel
In order to move to a new college I needed to dispel the rumors.

  5. Compulsion
It's really hard to deal with your compulsion while you are following a diet.

  6. Pulse
Even though she was still smiling, her pulse started to lower the heartbeats.
