MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. It's a good practice to please a person with little tokens of appreciation here and there.
  2. New vending machine at work was a pleasant surprise.
  3. Kathy enjoyed the sight of placid lake waters.
  4. Being complacent badly influences the quality of product one puts together.
  5. My toddler was easily placated with sounds of rain.
