Please try to do these Vocab Practice exercises before the 24-hour deadline ... or at least within about 36 hours. I usually check them about 40 hours after I post it.

That should give you plenty of time. If you do your Vocab Practice exercise after 50 hours, chances are that I will not notice it.

Thanks for your consideration.

Oh, I got it! Thank you so much!

this is really educative thanks for sharing

Very informative. Are you an ESL teacher? My sister is too and every time have confusing words I go to her.

Well, I WAS an ESL teacher, for many years. Then I worked as an editor, and now I work as a writer ... on Steemit.

I hope you, and especially your sister, find this Vocab-ability useful. Feel free to copy, download, print out, and .... teach! :-)

@majes.tytyty you said you'll be giving upvotes for participating but it seems you're not doing that anymore. Though your post are very informative but since you're doing it in the form of a contest, it would be nice if you keep to your words.

There may be a misunderstanding here. I have consistently received upvotes for my participation in the Vocab Practices.

Allow me to help clarify.

  1. @majes.tytyty marks the Vocab Practices about 30 to 50 hours after putting them up.

  2. There is a 23-hour deadline to submit each Vocab Practice. Hence, Steemians who participated in the practices but did not receive upvotes may have missed the deadline.

Hope above explanation helps.

Cheers.

I always send my entry before the deadline. I know it's a 23hrs contest. Check his posts on the trending contest page, you will see that he didn't upvote many people that posted before the deadline line. If he can't be upvoting everyone, he should state that, let say the best five entry will have 30%, 20%, 15% 10% and 5% upvote respectively. That way people will understand and put in more effort instead of promising and not keeping up to his promise

False! I upvote every entry. I even upvote those entries that are posted AFTER the deadline, if and when the practicers ask me to do so.

If there are any that I did NOT upvote, please paste the links in a Reply below. Thanks.

This is an example of one of them you did not upvote. I know that sometimes your voting power may be low and you would want it to increase before upvoting but it would be easier if you create a simple pattern of upvoting so that it won't look as if you're not keeping to your words. You know that so many of us are still redfish here and we're looking for contests like yours that that can be giving us some little upvotes here and there. But if you don't keep to your bargain it's kinda discouraging. If you will only be upvoting a few people, modify your participation rules so that everyone will understand.

Hi @resuscitate,

The example you gave is under Vocab-ability–122.

@majes.tytyty has not commenced with the marking of the vocab practices under Vocab-ability–122 yet- probably due to a busy schedule.

I would urge a little patience. Given his track record, I am sure that he will commence with the marking and upvote the vocab practices soon.

Since it's a daily challenge, i thought he upvotes them everytime he posts a new one. There were some in the previous ones i participated in that were not upvoted after three days and i didn't check them if they were later upvoted. That was what prompted my first comment that he should keep to his promise. He should have explained his upvoting schedule so that we will know how his contest runs instead of faulting my claim. From the link you can see that i wasn't talking out of point. Anyway, thanks for your response and clarification.

Thanks for your input.

I do not understand what @resuscitate is speaking about, since I have upvoted virtually each and every practice in 120 Vocab-ability posts.

You are most welcome. Just doing my part to help create a harmonious environment on Steemit. Cheers.

I'm wearing your post.Your post has been much better. I will try to post like you.

Very informative i wait for your this post beacuse we can use it in everyday life
