MY VOCAB PRACTICE

The jury reviewed the evidence, abjured the police officer's statements and found him guilty of perjury.

  1. The jury was instructed to listen to the testimony and render a verdict based upon the evidence provided.

  2. The police officer committed perjury when questioned on the stand, his statements conflicted with his previously given affidavit.

  3. After reviewing the body-cam footage; the court abjured the police officers claim that he was acting in self-defense.
