RE: Vocab-ability–41 (clud, clus = close, shut) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

in #vocab-ability7 years ago (edited)

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Conclude
Two days ago I had a tinder date that I concluded earlier, pretending to have an unpredictable circumstances to handle, in order to avoid further uncomfortable feelings.

  2. Secluded
When I lived in the Mid West of Nepal, the geographic belt, the culture barrier and the language contributed to make me feel quite secluded by the rest of the world.

  3. Exclusive
My colleague rented an exclusive Karaoke room just for our team, to make us feel special and more united.

  4. Recluse
My ex-boyfriend was a sociopath, who loved to self impose to live like a recluse in his cave-room for many days a week without meeting any human beings.

  5. Claustrophobia
Claustrophobia is an unreasonable and uncontrollable reaction to closed spaces that is fairly common among anxious personalities.
