RE: Vocab-ability–175 (pend, pens = hang down) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

in #vocab-ability6 years ago

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Depend.
Mr. Jones can always depend on Tiffany to perform her job as his executive assistant.

  2. Pending.
Her application for a new credit is pending until she pays all her debts.

  3. Suspense.
The book’s story is full of suspense making her highly anxious to keep on reading it.

  4. Compensate.
She’s obliged to work-out to compensate her high calorie-intake of food for the day.

  5. Dependent.
An infant baby is always dependent for financial care and support from parents or any adults.
