RE: Vocab-ability–195 (put, putat = calculate, think) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

in #vocab-ability6 years ago (edited)

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Computation.
Learning mathematics allows you to learn various operations and methods of numerical computations.

  2. Computer.
Years ago the IBM computer system used to process punch cards to execute programs written primarily in COBOL language.

  3. Amputate.
Many soldiers who went to war were badly injured either in their arms and or legs that needed to be amputated and replaced with an artificial limb through surgery.

  4. Dispute.
Some adult children were having a dispute over the wealth inheritance their parents have left them in the hands of their executor.

  5. Dispute.
It is not disputable that computers only perform and execute instructions for it certainly don’t have a mind of its own.

  6. Putative.
The putative justification of his whereabouts that day was enough to determine he wasn’t involved in a gang related crime.
